Travel Hands website is designed to be accessed by as many people as possible. We have implemented good practices on web accessibility. 
Our website is dedicated to Visually Impaired People (VIP), but our aim is to ensure the access and easy usage for everyone who suffer from other disabilities like: colour blindness, loss hearing, cognitive impairments, mobility.

How was the website tested?

Website was tested internally for compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1level A and level AA compliances. VIP World strives for adjusting all content conforming to WCAG 2.1 Level AAA wherever possible.

Our website was tested on the basis of:

• Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG) checkpoints
• Accessibility checkers
• Usability tests with visually impaired people

We are still developing and testing our website with a variety of technologies, but we do not have enough resources to test every assistive technology with every browser, operating system version or mobile devices.

We have tested the website using the following browsers and assistive technology combinations so far:

• Chrome and Firefox with NVDA
• Chrome and Firefox with Windows Narrator
• Apple iOS –  Chrome on iPhone and iPad with Voiceover and Magnification
• Android – Chrome browser with Talkback
• In browser magnification up to 400% 
• Keyboard navigation

We are trying to ensure support for older versions of browsers as well, however it is not always feasible to test with all versions. Therefore, we would like to encourage the use of common and updated browser versions.

Improvements

We are constantly improving the accessibility of our website. We strive to ensure that all new content on our website complies with WCAG 2.1 standards. To ensure that every part of our website is accessible, we regularly carry out usability tests with users and collect feedback on their experience while using our website. We carry out internal audits and remove all encountered shortcomings.
